We're not hosting Great Lantern Festival in 2026. Director lanes and the Site & Ops Supercommittee below are how we organize when we produce — and where interest can still land this season, including sister Mid-Autumn events.
What is a director?
A director is the go-to person for one festival area. You plan the work — volunteers, members, vendors, or paid contractors may execute it. You don't have to do every shift or task yourself.

Site & ops
Physical infrastructure, finance, and day-of execution. Vendor revenue funds this baseline. One supercommittee with an optional Chair — members claim workstreams when tasks demand. Claiming a workstream includes budget and contract scope for that task.
